If you need to go to Phuket town for any reason then a cheap and convenient way to get there is by the Phuket airport bus. Tickets to Phuket town cost around 75 THB and the length of journey depends on traffic and how many stops are made along the way. Please note that this Phuket airport bus does not drive near or past any of the popular Phuket tourist areas. You could take another bus from Phuket town that would take you to Patong or Kata / Karon beach areas. The price for that bus would be around 30 THB. ......
