One of the most popular places on Phuket for people to rent or purchase a villa is in Patong. If you are looking for a Patong villa then there will be plenty of options from which you can select. Patong beach is surrounded by hills on all sides. On the flat section of Patong and especially in the area close to the beach there are very few Patong villas available. If you would like to rent a Patong villa that is located right along the water then your best bet will be to look in Kalim which is located a few hundred meters north of Patong. Please note that if you purchase or rent a Patong villa there then you will pay top dollar as that location is considered prime real estate.

If you are looking for a Patong villa then your best changes are to head into the hills that overlook Patong bay as this is where the majority of Patong villas are located. You could perhaps start of by driving down Nanai road and all the small streets leading into Nanai road as these are great location to find a Patong villa for sale or rent. The majority of these Patong villas were built several years ago when the development around Nanai road rapidly expanded. If you find a Patong villa which is located just up the hill of Nanai road then changes are that the Patong villa will have ocean view. Please also note that most of the villas in Patong have private swimming pools.

The latest area of Patong which has been under heavy development has been the Hassip Pee Road which means the 200 year road. This road is the highest located road on the hills of Patong and legally no more projects can be build any higher then this road due to the 80 meter law. There are however plenty of new Patong villas which are being build or were completed in the last two years just within this height limit along Hassip Pee Road. The prices for Patong villa rentals and Patong villa sale prices are among the lowest found anywhere in this part of Phuket and nearly all the Patong villas along the 200 Year Road offer full ocean view and a spectacular view over Patong.

Another excellent place to look for a Patong villa is the hill which overlooks Patong Bay from the south. The type of Patong villa developments tend to be somewhat more exclusive and a number of wonderful and luxurious Patong hotels such as the Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort. If you are looking for a Patong villa which offers an amazing view then this is the location in Patong to look for Patong villas for rent or sale.

Patong Villa Rental Prices


The Patong villa rental prices can vary a great deal depending on the location of the Patong villa, the size of the structure, location and what facilities there are. (For example a swimming pool). If you are looking for a Patong villa with private swimming pool along one of the hills then you should expect to pay a long term rental of at least 40,000 Thai Baht a month.

Patong Villa Sales Prices


Patong villa sales prices can range from anywhere between a few million Thai baht until well over 30 million Thai Baht. When looking at new Patong villa with private pool developments around the 200 year road then I would expect most new Patong Villas there to cost an average of 12 million Thai Baht..
