Of the two most prominent Bungee jumping spots, Phuket Jungle Bungee Jump ranks high considering the views and facilities. This Bungee jumping site was formerly known as Tarzan Jungle Bungee Jump since its public opening in 1992. Jungle Bungee Jump offers jumps from a height of 50 meters (165 feet) over a lagoon surrounded by green jungles. It is located between Patong and Phuket Town in an area called Kathu. This jump site has many attractions. If you opt for four jumps, your first jump will cost 1600 THB (approximately $50 including insurance and certificate), second jump 1000 THB, third one 500 THB and the fourth one absolutely FREE. You can also get your jump pictures for an additional cost of 300 THB. There are also jump T-shirts, caps etc. available as souvenirs. This site operates between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The other Bungee jump site is known as World Bungee Jump, Patong. Located at Soi Kepsap of Patong Beach, this site offers jumps from 60 meters (197 feet) – highest in southern Thailand.
