BANANA ROCK BEACH

Although Banana Rock Beach is one of the smaller Phuket beaches and is generally not well known with tourists does not mean that Phuket Banana Rock Beach is not worth visiting. Banana Rock Beach is in fact one of the most beautiful beaches of Phuket and we do recommend all tourists to spend at least half a day at this wonderful Phuket beach.

If you enjoy spending time on a beach which is not crowded what so ever and is not surrounded by many beach vendors and shops and restaurants then Banana Rock Beach could definitely be the right Phuket beach for you.

Banana Rock Beach Location

Banana Rock Beach is located on the popular west coast of Phuket. The exact location of the beautiful Banana Rock Beach is located between Nai Thon Beach and the beach at Bang Tao. If you are planning to visit this great Phuket beach then you should keep an eye out for the Trisara Villas sign. The Banana Rock Beach is located about half a kilometer north of it. There is no real public transport which you can take to Banana Rock Beach and there are few Tuk Tuk’s which you can find at this Phuket beach so you should drive their on a motorbike or by your own rental car. Alternatively you can also opt to hire a long tail boat at one of the other Phuket beaches for your trip to Banana Rock Beach.

Banana Rock Beach Activities

Banana Rock Beach is not a very large or developed Phuket beach so there are not a great deal of Banana Rock Beach activities. The main reason why people visit the lovely Banana Rock beach is to spend the day on the beach and enjoy some swimming and snorkeling in the calm and clear waters of the Andaman Sea. You can rent some sun loungers and umbrellas at Banana Rock Beach and there are a few beach massage ladies around in case you feel like a relaxing massage on the beach.

Banana Rock Beach Restaurants

As mentioned before, Banana Rock Beach is rather small and undeveloped which is of course why it is such a great Phuket beach but it also means that you are very limited when it comes to Banana Rock Beach restaurants. There is in fact only one restaurant at Banana Rock Beach. The excellent Banana Rock Beach seafood restaurant is owned and operated by the lovely K. Jan and offers some of the best seafood of Phuket.

Banana Rock Beach Hotels

There are no hotels located directly at the Banana Rock beach however there are several Phuket Resorts and hotels which are located within walking distance of Banana Rock beach. If you are interested in staying in this part of Phuket and would like to enjoy spending a lot of time at Banana Rock Beach then you should definitely look into reserving a room or suite at one of the following nearby Phuket hotels and resorts: Phuket Pavilions Resort, Phuket Andaman White Beach Resort and the ever so trendy Trisara Phuket Resort. ..
